Conservation incentives offered by Utilities Kingston.
Incentives for water, natural gas, and electricity conservation.
Utilities Kingston has provided the residents of Kingston with safe and reliable utility services for more than 100 years. Over the years our name and corporate structure have changed, but one thing has remained constant: we are the City-owned utility company accountable to the City of Kingston, City Council, and the residents of the local community.
Caitlin Newey is the Conservation Officer at Utilities Kingston.
She has been a member of SWITCH for a decade, ever since she was a pioneer Energy Services Engineering Technology (ESET) student at St. Lawrence College. She has worked in energy conservation for the City of Kingston, Hearthmakers Energy Cooperative (now Red Squirrel Conservation Services), and Hydro One. Ms. Newey sits on two provincial working groups to help refine Ontario-wide conservation programs and the Program Advisory Committee for the ESET program at St. Lawrence College.
