Westinghouse Electric Canada is ready to support Canada’s decarbonization strategy with the most advanced and proven Generation III+ reactor available – the AP1000® Pressurized Water Reactor. This presentation will introduce the AP1000® technology, outline its fully passive safety systems, and compare it to existing CANDU® and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) designs. It will also explore how Canada can benefit from the reactor’s global deployment and operational success.

CAMERON NEVAY is an 
Account Executive at Westinghouse Electric Canada, bringing a strong background in leadership and commercial roles across the nuclear and clean energy sectors. Based in Kingston, he lives with his wife and two young children and is actively involved in the community – serving on the Board of Directors for the Eastern Ontario YMCA and coaching several local sports teams. He recently graduated from the Executive MBA program at Queen’s Smith School of Business.
