Pembina Institute is Canada’s foremost energy, environment and climate think tank,  with offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver.  Leading the transition to a clean energy future requires advancing solutions to today’s energy challenges. The Pembina Institute has spent three decades working with industry, governments, communities and other stakeholders to reduce the environmental and climate impacts of Canada’s energy production and use.

As the Ontario director and transportation lead at pembina Institute, Carolyn Kim brings 10 years of public, private and not-for-profit policy and planning experience to her role leading research and engaging with stakeholders and partners to advance solutions to Canada’s most pressing transportation and planning issues while supporting the sustainable growth of Ontario’s economy and communities.

As director of federal policy at the Pembina Institute, Isabelle Turcotte draws on her extensive experience at the Center for Clean Air Policy in D.C. and at management consulting firm Globerpro (where she managed projects and worked to foster growth in clean energy technology markets) as she works to support the development and execution of federal climate and energy strategy and to advance carbon pricing across Canada.
